Home Ability Store accepts returns from customers of substandard or defective items per the guidance in the manufacturer’s respective warranty. Due to the differences in our products, there is a different return policy associated with each category.
Straight Stair Lifts
They are customized products. The track is cut to the length of the stairs. As this is a custom-made product, made to specifications, it is not returnable. Once the track has been cut, the order becomes non-refundable. On any refused shipment by the customer at the delivery address, the customer will lose the deposit they have placed on the order.
Curved Stair Lifts
They are each unique and custom-made to exact specifications. As such, the deposit will be non-refundable as soon as the stairlift goes into production. Once it has been shipped, it cannot be canceled or returned.
Vehicle Lifts
Vehicle Lifts that have been installed on any vehicle cannot be returned.
Lift Chairs
Lift Chairs purchased from the showroom cannot be returned after they are delivered and installed. Custom-built lift chairs are non-refundable as soon as the order is submitted, and production begins by the manufacturer.
